People 1st is a non-profit registered under section 501(c)3 of the IRS code. This means gifts are tax deductible of a federal tax return. We have setup several means by which donations can be made:

FEED THE VULNERABLE FUND

Donations to this fund are used only to offer discounts to the most vulnerable households in our area. These households are identified through the government WIC (Women, Infants and Children) and SNAP (formerly “food stamps”) programs or through registrations at local food pantries.

CT Angel Investor Tax Credit Program

People 1st is listed as a qualified CT business such that investments can receive a 25% tax credit. If interested in this program, contact us for more information about the program and process.

Gathering information: The detailed needs in this area are constantly changing, please use the contact form below to indicate interest in assisting in this area.
Construction: We are nearly done with the removal of unwanted aspects of the rooms in the warehouse. Once that completes we will start building up the needed walls/insulation and then the warehousing and vertical farm area.
